Cables almost never fail in the middle. They fail where the wire meets the plug, after a few hundred bends against the edge of a desk. This upgraded pair adds a longer, stiffer strain relief right there, so the weak point gets a lot less weak.

Reinforced neck tested for more than 10,000 bends before the copper inside starts to tire
Fits the four-pin port on Fenix 5 to 7, Epix Gen 2, Forerunner 245 to 955, Venu 2 and Vivoactive 3 and 4
A full charge on a Forerunner takes about two and a half hours from any 1A USB port
Over-charge, short-circuit and heat protection built into the plug for overnight charging

In your corner

We call this one the upgraded cable because of what you cannot see in a photo: a firmer collar of TPE around the joint, and heavier copper strands inside. It looks like the cable you already know, it just takes the daily bend of being coiled into a pocket without cracking at the neck.

If you run with your watch every morning and charge it every night, the cable takes more abuse than the watch. This is the pair we hand to those people first.

What owners say

Real reviews, word for word.

Better than the original OEM cable highly recommende

This cable is even better than the one that comes with the garment venue SQ and connect very easily and stays in place without any movements whatsoever. The connection does not come loose and it charges very fast. …

Good product

Works better than the original charge cord.

Very inexpensive replacement charging cord and they work!

These work as they should. I still would like a little longer cord, but I’m not complaining at all.
